It’s been a long time I’d been thinking about to record an album. I came to Brazil one of these summers, and I had a good talk with a friend and big producer. After this conversation we made a deal and soon we supposed to meet again. At the second moment back in Europe.

I started to select so many old songs as I could. But suddenly a big inspiration shots me up. I started to write a new song. But then, it became another and another and another.

It was some kind of magic. At the end of a month and a half I wrote nine new songs. Different styles, but all of these compositions were connected with my playing influences on the guitar. Rock, Pop and Bossa-Nova.

At the first moment, I had problems to write too many new lyrics too. But soon as I had written a song, fast I let it flow and wrote the words as well. I remember the first one it was “This Is Your Song”, talking about that difficult thing to moving from your hometown to another one. But I’ didn’t have troubles, because my new one, Mallorca is a Paradise like Rio de Janeiro. Besides, I’m Spanish too.

During the process of composition I went to Africa. A little tour with my band. I though it was a great opportunity of sending beautiful words to my new friends from there. Specially from Zanzibar, I love them. So I wrote “Never Felt Like This” and “Yo Nunca Me Sentí Así” (a spanish version).

Almost a year after starts the recordings, suddenly appears another inspiration. It became “Will you Marry Me?” Later, the answer of this question, “Yes, I Do”. Written on the piano. 

Me and my producer start to connect with many friends and excellent musicians from four corners of the world, so we asked them to help us in this recording. Two years after we finish the album.
